Everything you need to know about Asia Cup 2018 in UAE
Asia Cup 2018: Schedule, Teams, Venues and Live Streaming. Asia Cup 2018 is all set to take place in United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 15th September to 28th September. This time Pakistan will take on its traditional rival India on One day international (ODI) on 19th September in UAE.
The opening match will be played between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka on 15th September at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) on has officially declared the full schedule of the upcoming Asia Cup 2018.
Teams:
There are five teams that have directly earned the entry in the cricket tournament and including Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan.
On the other hand Hong Kong, Malaysia, Nepal, Oman, Singapore, and UAE will fight for the remaining one position in the tournament.
The six teams have been divided into two groups that are as follows:
Group A
- Pakistan
- India
- The qualifier form the above mentioned teams
Group B
- Sri Lanka
- Bangladesh
- Afghanistan
Top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super 4 stage. The final match of Asia cup 2018 will be on 28th September in Dubai.
