As per Pakistan Meteorological Department’s prediction, the Eid-ul-Fitr 2021 in Pakistan will be on Friday 14th May, because there are fewer chances of the Shawwal moon being sighted on 12th May in the country. According to Professor Javed Iqbal, Head of the Institute of Space Sciences and Technology, Karachi University the Shawwal 2021 moon will be born between 11th and 12th May, whereas the time between sunset and moonset will be too short (just 36 minutes).
“The new moon of Shawwal 1442 AH will be born on the night between May 11 and 12 at about 12:01 pm. The sun will set and the age of the moon will be 19 hours and 31 minutes. The time between sunset and moonset will be only 36 minutes.”
The Central Ruet e Hilal Committee will be held a meeting on 12th May 2021 in Islamabad to see the Shawwal moon in Pakistan.
The weather would expect to be fair or partly cloudy in most parts of the country but the Shawwal moon won’t be visible on that evening so there are clear chances that the Eid-ul-Fitr 2021 in Pakistan will be on Friday, May 14.
The Holy month of Ramadan had begun on Wednesday, May 14 in Pakistan, and it will last for 30 days, marking Eid-ul-Fitr on Friday, May 14.
As per the Eid prediction 2021 in Pakistan by the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry that Eidul Fitr to fall on May 14 in accordance with the Ruet application.
In case, the estimation is accurate, then Eid-ul-Fitr 2021 in Pakistan might be celebrated on Friday, May 14. The Federal government has announced the Eid-ul-Fitr 2021 holidays in Pakistan and this year it is expected to be seven holidays on the occasion of Eid.
