Sadaqah Al-Fitr, Fidya /Fitrana Amount Fixed in Pakistan. The Sadaqah Al Fitr, Fidya /Fitrana is something different from the annual payment of Zakat. All the Muslims across the world have to it before the Eid-ul-Fitr Prayer.

State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has fixed the Nisab this year for Zakat deduction on bank accounts at Rs39,198 for the current Islamic year. Under the Zakat and Ushr Ordinance 1980, no Zakat would be deducted in case a bank account has less than Rs39,198.

Last year the Chairman of Ruet-e-Hilal committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman had declared that minimum sadqa al fitar is Rs.100 and every one need to pay it according to his/her financial conditions. Sadaqah Al-Fitr, Fidya /Fitrana has to be paid as per the equal rate to the worth of wheat, barley, date, and raisins.

This year the Chairman of Ruet-e-Hilal committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman has announced the amount of Sadaqah Al-Fitr, Fidya /Fitrana after consulting with rest of the Ulema of the Committee. This year the amount of Sadaqah Al-Fitr, Fidya /Fitrana has been fixed at Rs. 100 per person as per wheat rate.

Mufti Muneebur Rehman announced that the Sadaqah Al-Fitr, Fidya /Fitrana will be amount of market price of 2.25KG of flour is Rs. 100.

Last year the Sadaqah Al Fitr was as per wheat rate was Rs.100, Rs.240 for barley, Raisins rates was Rs.1600 per person.

Roza Fidiya was Rs.7200 as per barley rate and Rs.48,000 as per dates and Raisins rates.

Roza na rakhne ka Kaffara is to feed 60 poor people or to give Rs.6,000 for wheat, Rs. 14,400 for barley, Rs. 76,800 for dates and Rs. 153,600 for raisin.


On the other hand the Sadaqah Al-Fitr, Fidya /Fitrana worth for the year 2018 is Rs. 240 and Rs. 1,600 and Rs. 1,920 per head of barley, dates, and raisins respectively.

The amounts of Fidya Saaom, Kaffara So’om and Kafara Qasam are also mentioned in the press release.

the Chairman of Ruet-e-Hilal committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman has advised all Muslims to pay the amount payable according to Sharia to the poor before Eid al-Fitr 2018 so that they would be also celebrate the festival.

Sadaqah Al-Fitr, Fidya /Fitrana Amount for Shia Muslims

Shiite scholar and speaker of Imambargah F-11 Markaz Islamabad, Allama Syed Zafar Abbas set the minimum of Fitrana amount Rs, 150 for Fiqh-i-Jafria. Those Shia Muslims eat wheat will pay Rs. 150 as Fitrana amount and those eat wheat and rice will pay Rs. 300 per person as Fit Sadaqah Al-Fitr, Fidya /Fitrana amount.
