Earlier, the Chairman of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman had declared that the minimum Sadaqat-ul-Fitr was Rs.170 as per the Wheat rate and everyone needs to pay it according to his/her financial conditions.

The Ex-Chairman of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman announced the amount of Sadaqa-e-Fitr, Fidya in Pakistan in 2023 after consulting with the rest of the Ulema of the Committee. This year the amount of Sadqa-e-Fitr, Fidya/Fitrana had been fixed at Rs. 320 per person as per wheat rate.

Fidya Amount in Pakistan:

Fidya rate in Pakistan in 2023 is as per wheat rate was Rs.320, Rs.480 for barley, Rs.2800 for dates, and Raisins rate was Rs.6400 per person on daily basis.

The fidya rate in Pakistan 2023 is to be paid for the 30 days with respect to wheat price is Rs.9,600; with respect to barley Rs.14,400; with respect to dates Rs.84,000; and with respect to raisins Rs.192,000 or Rs.144,000/.

Roza Ka Kafara:

Shia Fitrana 2023: As per Fiqh-i-Jafria, Shia Muslims who eat wheat will pay Rs. 250 as Fitrana/ sarsaya 2023. Fiqa jafria fitrana 2023 for those who eat wheat and rice will pay Rs. 300 per person as Fit Sadaqah Al-Fitr, Fidya /Fitrana amount.
