Shaban 2020 started on the eve of 25h March in Pakistan. The Islamic month of Shaban 1441 Hijri has begun on 25h March 2020 and the Shab-e-Barat to be observed on the eve of 8th April.
Shaban moon 2020 is sighted yesterday in Pakistan, therefore, the 1st Shaban has begun on the night of 25h March and 26th March will the first day of Shaban, announced the Ruet-i-Hilal Committee.
Shab-e-Barat 2020 will be observed on April 8. The announcement was made by Chairman of the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee, Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman, after chairing the meeting of the committee.
The Ministry Religious Affairs has also issued a notification and as per notification, the first of Shaban will fall on Thursday on 26th March in Pakistan.
Shaban is the 8th month of the Islamic year. The Islamic year 1441 Hijri began on 1st September 2019 in Pakistan first Muharram 2019 in Pakistan was on the evening 31st August. The Islamic year 1441 Hijri will last till September 2020.
