Shab-e-Miraj 2023 in Pakistan to be on February 18

The Islamic month of Rajab 1444 Hijri has begun in Pakistan on 24th January 2023 in Pakistan. The 1st of Rajab is on 24th January in Pakistan while the Shab-e-Miraj 2023 will be observed on Saturday 18th February.

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal committee has announced the moon of Rajab 1444 Hijri sighting on Sunday. The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad Today on Sunday announced that the moon of Rajab 1444 Ah was not sighted in the country. He said that the first of Rajab-ul-Murajab 2023 would fall on Tuesday, 24th January, while chairing the meeting of the Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Islamabad at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.

The crescent moon for the seventh month of the Islamic calendar, the Rajab moon to be sighted on Monday, and therefore the Shab-e-Miraj 2023 in Pakistan is to be on 18th February. Muslims all over the world observe Shab-e-Miraj on the eve of the 27th Rajab every year.
