Petitions were filed for unbanning PUBG in Pakistan: Millions of players are playing the PUBG in Pakistan and after the suspension of the online battle game, the authority related to control the game in Pakistan filled the petition in Islamabad High Court (IHC). The company's lawyer upheld that the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) did not issue any notice to the company, prior the suspension of PUBG in the country. The lawyer further said that they would also appear in the hearing to be held in regard to the suspension of 9th July 2020. The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has disposed of the case and asked the PTA to take the final decision regarding the ban and unban of the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) online battle game in Pakistan. One of the local PUBG players has also filed the petition regarding the suspension of the ban on the game, citing that this game is the source of income for him and other players. He had won a local gaming tournament and was set to represent Pakistan in PUBG World League on 10th July. On the other hand, the Lahore High Court (LHC) has also directed PTA to look into the issue and decide the matter after hearing the complainants. A meeting was held today on 9th July in this regard.
