NADRA starts to verify CNICs
National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has officially launched the CNICs verification drive across the country. NADRA has taken this step in order to verify illegal identities in the country.
For this purpose NADRA has launched a SMS service. You can confirm the registration of yourself and your family members by messaging your CNIC number at 8008.
On the other hand, the re-verification of Computerized National Identity Cards will begin from the 1st July, 2016.
The service charges of re-verification of CNIC Rs.2+tax will be applicable.
