Federal Govt Enforces Strict Rules for Weddings in Islamabad. The Federal Capital administration has enforced marriage act under sections 3, 4, and 5 of 2000 ordinance in order to halt the extra and unnecessary expenditures during the marriage ceremonies.
Under the marriage act firing, fireworks and more than one dish would be completed prohibit during the marriage ceremonies. Under this act every marriage ceremony will have to conclude at 10pm.
According to the notification strict action would be taken against the violators and copies were forwarded to all Assistant commissioners in this regard. All concerned are hereby directed to adhere to the prescribed timing (i.e. 10:00 p.m).
