Asia Cup 2023: Schedule, Teams, Venues, and Live Streaming. Asia Cup 2023 is all set to take place in Pakistan. Pakistan will host this cricket tournament. A few Asia Cup matches will be played in Pakistan, whereas other games will be in Kandy, and Colombo, Sri Lanka.  Pakistan will take on its traditional rival India on One Day International (ODI) in Kandy, Sri Lanka. This time six teams will be part of the tournament.

Asia Cup 2023 is all set to begin on 30th August and end on 17th September 2023.

The opening match will be between Pakistan and Nepal on 30th August at the Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially declared the full schedule of the upcoming Asia Cup 2023.

Asia Cup 2023 Teams:

Six teams have earned entry into the cricket tournament, including Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan.

On the other hand, Nepal will also fight for the tournament. Nepal qualified to win the 2023 ACC Men’s Premier Cup. Nepal would be making its ACC Asia Cup debut, having prepared for the first time.

The six teams have been divided into two groups that are as follows:

Group A

  • Pakistan
  • India
  • Nepal

Group B

  • Sri Lanka
  • Bangladesh
  • Afghanistan

The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super 4 stage. The final match of Asia Cup 2023 will be on 2nd September in Pakistan.

India is the Asia Cup 2018 champion after defeating Bangladesh in the final. India has won the most 7 Asia Cup titles so far. In 2022 Sri Lanka won the title by defeating Pakistan. Sri Lanka is in the second position with 5 tags, whereas Pakistan has won 2 titles.

Asia Cup 2023 Venue

This year Pakistan is to host the Asia Cup 2023. The main venues for Asia Cup Cricket 2023 as given below. Pakistan Cricket Board has shared the venue at which all the matches of Asia Cup 2023 will be played. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has also listed Pakistan as the Asia Cup 2023 host nation and the venues for all the matches are as follows;

Sri Lanka

  • Colombo
  • Kandy
