Data Ganj Bakhsh Annual Urs Starts in Lahore. The celebration of Data Ganj Bakhsh’s Annual Urs has started in Lahore. The three-day celebrations of the 974th annual Urs of Saint Hazrat Ali bin Usman Sheikh Ali Hajveri, known as Data Ganj Bakhsh has started in Lahore today on Wednesday.
The annual Urs of Data Ganj Bakhsh will remain for three days and the Punjab government offering the best facilities to the devotees. The government has provided the best possible arrangements for security of devotees who have reached at the Shrine from all over the country to attend the Urs of Data Ganj Bakhsh. Approximately 2500 policemen will do security duty during these three days.
Furthermore, the other law enforcement agencies will act as backup force and teams of rescue 1122 and bomb disposal squad will also be available on demand.
At the Urs of Data Ganj Bakhsh devotees will recite the Holy Quran, Na’at, and Qawwali.
