The federal government will officially announce the holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr 2024. The expected holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr 2024 in Pakistan will start on Wednesday 10th of April. Eid will be the last on the 15th of April. There will be a total of five holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr 2024 in Pakistan.

The Interior Ministry has announced the Eid-ul-Fitr 2024 Holiday in Pakistan. The government has published an official notification in this regard. The government declared the Eid holidays from Wednesday 10th April to 13th April. The Eid-ul-Fitr 2024 in Pakistan will likely fall on Wednesday 10th April, as the Shawwal moon will likely be sighted in the country on the evening of 09th April.

How many Eidul Fitr holidays Pakistanis will get this year?

There will be expected 5 Eid holidays in 2024 in Pakistan if the Eid-ul-Fitr will fall on April 10. There are predictions that the month of Ramadan will be 29 days. The meteorological forecasts said that the celebration of Eid is to be on April 10th.

If the prediction comes true there will be 6 holidays on Eid in Pakistan. Meanwhile, according to the Cabinet Division’s list of public holidays in Pakistan in 2024 issued a few weeks ago, the Eidul Fitr holidays have been scheduled from April 10 until April 12.

Eid Holidays in the United Arab Emirates (UAE)

On the other hand, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE)  the Eid Al Fitr holidays for private and non-profit sectors will be 9 days. The Eid ul Fitr holiday in UAE will begin on the 6th of April while regular working hours will commence on the 15th of April.
