When and where to submit hajj applications for 2023?

Banks will start accepting hajj applications under the government hajj scheme 2023 from the end of February.

The government has officially declared the hajj policy 2023 and the related banks will start accepting hajj applications 2023 on 16 March, Thursday, and it will end on 31 March, Friday from people who want to secure a berth under the government hajj Scheme. The draw for Hajj applications will take place in the first week of April.

After the process of hajj application submission which will last in April, the results will be announced through the balloting process.  

The ministry of religious affairs has imposed strict conditions on scheduled banks. The banks will need to follow the strict rules devised by the government in receiving Hajj applications for 2023 under the government hajj scheme.

The banks would have diverse counters at each elected branch, besides arranging special staff for supervising the intending pilgrims in submitting Hajj applications.

Applicants can either visit the nearby bank branch to obtain the hajj applications or also can download them by visiting the official websites of the banks.

When will be Hajj 2023 draw be?

The hajj 2023 draws through the government hajj scheme will be held in March. The pilgrims will be able to the status of their application after the hajj draw on the ministry’s website, www.mora.gov.pk, and www.hajjinfo.org.

Required Documents for Hajj 2023:

The intended pilgrims need to have the following document before applying for the government hajj scheme 2023;

Valid CNIC

valid Passport

Recent Passport sized 3 photographs

Medical certificate of Covid 19

The validity of the Machine Readable Passports of intending pilgrims should be up to 2024. Applicants over 80 years of age should include the name of their assistant in the group.
