India Won the Title of Fourth Asian Men’s Hockey Champion Trophy 2016

The fourth Men’s Asian Hockey Champion Trophy 2016 started on 20th October in Malaysia, Kuantan District.

In the 4th Edition of the Men’s Asian Hockey Champion Trophy 2016 six hockey teams have participated including Pakistan, India, South Korea, China, Malaysia and Japan.

All the hockey matches between the teams have been played in the Wisma Belia Hockey Stadium in Malaysia.  The hockey tournament included the round-robin league matches between all the above mentioned teams and the play-off was in the top four teams for final match.

In the opening hockey match of the event Pakistan Vs. Malaysia was played. The second match of the round-robin was played between India and Japan.

Both the semifinals of the hockey matches of the fourth Men’s Asian Champion Trophy were played between Pakistan and Malaysia and between Indi and South Korea.

India and Pakistan by defeating their rivals qualify for the final match of fourth Men’s Asian Hockey Champion Trophy 2016, in which India defeated Pakistan and Gain the title of Winner. Indian hockey team won the Fourth Asian Men’s Hockey Champion Trophy 2016 by 3-2 and defeated Pakistan.
