Iqbal Day: 9th November to be observed as a Public Holiday in Pakistan. On the occasion of Iqbal Day, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has declared to observe a public holiday on 9th November. The 9 November holiday in Pakistan had been previously suspended for several years.
According to the official 9 November holiday notification 2023 issued by the Cabinet Division, the public holiday is on Allama Iqbal Day.
The public holiday on 9 November will be observed across the country to mark ‘Iqbal Day,’ the 146th birth anniversary of Dr. Allama Mohammad Iqbal.
