There is a good piece of news for the citizens of KP. The newly elected PTI government in the province has decided to restore the Sehat Card facility for the citizens. The government has suspended the facility of the Sehat card due to a lack of funds in May 2023.
The declaration to reinstate the Sehat Card in KP is due to the selection of the PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur as chief minister of the province as an independent candidate.
The government of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) is committing to issue Rs. 5 billion to the State Life Insurance Company in order to restore the Sehat Insaf Card scheme in concern of tackling the pressing need for free treatments.
The government has decided to resume the Sehat Insaf Card scheme from the 1st of Ramadan to the 12th of March to address the healthcare needs of the population.
