Lunar Eclipse, Super Blue Blood Moon To Occur on 31st January, 2018 in Pakistan and Other Countries. The total Lunar Eclipse is all set to occur on 31st January 2018 in Pakistan and other countries of the world.

But on 31st January 2018 there will be a total lunar eclipse and Super Blue Blood Moon on a single day. A blue moon is a full moon that occurs twice in a month on the other hand the super moon appears slightly bigger because it is closer to the earth’s surface in its slightly elliptical orbit.

A blood moon on the other hand turns red when Earth’s shadow casts its spell at the time of a lunar eclipse.

This is the first time in 2018 after more than 150 years that the three lunar events will coincide, according to NASA.

The lunar eclipse 2018, Super Blue Blood Moon, or chand grahan will be visible in Pakistan on 31st January. It will be visible in Lahore, Karachi,Islamabad, Multan and other cities.

The first lunar eclipse 2018, chand grahan will be witnessed by the people across the world living in Asia, Australia, North/East Africa, North America, North/West South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean, Arctic and Antarctica.

The people living in Alaska, the Hawaiian Islands and the western part of North America will be able to watch the breathtaking view of total lunar eclipse, Super Blue Blood Moon in the early morning of 31st January, 2018, while the people living in Middle East, Asia, Australia, eastern Russia and New Zealand will watch the Super Blue Blood Moon during moonrise in the morning.

The lunar eclipse 2018 will be for 3 hours and 38 minutes. The totality of the lunar eclipse will last for 1 hour and 16 minutes (76 minutes) depending on your viewing location.

No worries for your eyes

You can watch the lunar eclipse with bared eyes there will be absolutely no risk to your eyesight. However, binoculars or a small telescope will be used to watch the details in the lunar surface.

In the year 2018 there will be five eclipses, 3 solar eclipses and 2 lunar eclipses.

The first lunar eclipse 2018, chand grahan, will take place on 31st January while the second lunar eclipse will be on 27th July.
