Second Solar Eclipse (Suraj Grahan) 2018 to Occur Today in Pakistan, India and Other Countries. The second solar eclipse (Suraj Grahan) 2018 is all to occur today on Friday, 13th July in Pakistan, India and other countries of the world.  As per the reports the solar eclipse 2018 will start at 1:48pm today on Friday and will last after the duration of two hours at 4:13pm.

The total solar eclipse will darken the skies nearly at 3:01pm today.

What is a Solar Eclipse?

A solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between Earth and the sun and blocking light from the Sun to the earth.

This is the second solar eclipse 2018 and will entirely darken the skies. The total eclipses happen every 12 to 18 months somewhere in the world.

The first eclipse of the year 2018 was on 31st January.

Visibility of Second Solar Eclipse:

The total solar eclipse of the year 2018 will be visible in several countries including Pakistan, India, Canada, United States,  Bangladesh and Europe.

The solar eclipse will begin at 1:48pm today on Friday and its duration will be of 2 hours.

Not Safe to watch with naked eyes:

Today there will be partial solar eclipse of the year 2018 and the doctors and experts have warned the gazers not to directly gaze the eclipse with naked eyes as it could severely damage the vision.

Do we need special equipment to view the eclipse?

If you are planning to view the eclipse (Suraj Grahan) and want to avoid damage to cornea experts said you should wear special solar glasses or use darkened welder’s glasses to watch the eclipse.
