On Thursday Supreme Court disposed off petition inquiring about Defense Minister Khawaja Asif field by Usman Dar Threek-i-Insaaf Leader.
The petition wanted to disqualify Asif from Sialkot’s NA-110 constituency as Asif won the NA-110 seat with 92,803 votes, whereas Usman Dar only managed 71,525 during 2013 General Election. This was Khawaja Asif’s third consecutive victory from the Sialkot NA-110.
Khawaja Asif on twitter expressed his feeling via tweet: “I am humbled… Supreme Court has endorsed the will of people of Sialkot.”
