The federal government has officially announced the holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr 2023. The Eid-ul-Fitr 2023 holidays in Pakistan will start on Friday 21st of April before Eid will be the last on the 25th of April. There will be a total of five holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr 2023 in Pakistan.

The Interior Ministry has announced public holidays in Pakistan. In this regard, a notification has been issued, which states that the Eid-ul-Fitr 2023 holidays in Pakistan will be from April. The federal government has officially issued a notification that reveals the holidays for Eid 2023.

The government will declare the Eid holidays from Friday 21st April to 25th April. The Eid-ul-Fitr 2023 in Pakistan will likely fall on Saturday 22nd April, as the Shawwal moon will likely be sighted in the country on the evening of 30 Ramadan.

On the other hand, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has announced its own schedule for the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. KP government has announced six holidays for Eid from 21st April to 26th April (Friday to Wednesday). Here is the official notification of the KP Eid holidays.

Although there will be five Eid holidays in 2023, the people will eagerly wait for Shawwal Moon after that they visit chand raat bazaars in Pakistan to buy mehendi, jewelry, clothing and etc.

On the other hand, the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has announced the Eid Al Fitr holidays for private and non-profit sectors. The Eid ul Fitr holiday in Saudi Arabia will begin on Friday, the 21st of April while regular working hours will commence on Tuesday, the 25th of April.
