Directorate General Immigration & Passports (DGI&P) has introduced the Fast Track Passport Service for the facilitation of the people. With the Fast Track Passport Service in Pakistan, customers can now avail of their passport within 48 hours of applying to apply for it. DGI&P has also launched the E-passport system. Overseas Pakistanis can also renew their passports with this online system through the E-passport system.
DGI&P has launched this Fast Track Passport service for all those customers who want to travel abroad and can’t wait too long to avail of the passport.
This service was earlier available in seven cities of Pakistan including Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Karachi, and Quetta. Now the DGI&P has added more cities to the Fast Track Passport Service such as Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Gujrat, Sheikhupura, Mandi-bahauddin, Narowal,
Toba-Tek-Singh, Jhelum, Mardaan, Sukkur, Hyderabad, Pishin and Mastung.

How much time it will take to deliver your passport?
Under the fast-track passport service, customers can get a passport within 48 hours (i.e. 2 Working Days).
How to check passport status?
You can easily track your passport status and intimation through SMS or Email ID. You just need to provide your Mobile Phone Number and Email ID when applying for a Passport. You will get an email or SMS from 9988.
Passport home delivery:
DGI&P has started delivering passports to your doorstep. After the successful submission of the Machine Readable Passport application, you don’t need to visit the passport office because you can deliver it to your doorstep.
Currently, this passport home delivery service is available in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. This service will soon be expanded to all cities of Pakistan.
